Find yourself always looking for new, drastic ways to lose weight? Nothing seems to work for you? Why don’t you try something different and try focussing on the little things. If you’re in the car park at a shopping centre for example, don’t park right next to the entrance, or drive around until you can find a park that is close to the entrance. Park a fair way away, every little bit of walking and exercise helps. Walk with some intensity as well! Take the dog for a walk, even work up a sweat by going for a slow run, or even a faster run once your fitness levels improve!
Set yourself to work out or exercise at least 3 times a week, even if it is only for 20 minutes to half an hour. In some cases, escpecially mixed with a good diet, that’s all the exercise you’ll need to do to lose weight.
If you’ve got kids, or nieces and nephews, spend some time with them! Chase them around, make every game you play with them something that can turn into exercise. You’ll actually suprise yourself at how heavy you’ll be breathing after playing with kids. Not only is it extremely beneficial to your health to be exercising with kids, but it’s also extremely beneficial to theirs and sets a great example.

One thing that will make a huge difference is not eating later in the evening. Your body’s metabolism slows down drastically later in the day and if you eat late at night, you’re going to consume a lot more calories from a meal or snack and not have the ability to break them down. You may be hungry at night, but tell yourself to get some rest, get your mind on something else, and look forward to breakfast in the morning.
