Weight Loss is only many people’s minds since summer is approaching and it’s time to lose weight from the winter and fit into that bathing suit again. Many attempt and fail at losing weight. They blame it either on their body itself or the diet program. Usually saying, “Oh this diet doesn’t work” or “my body refuses to lose weight, it’s hopeless”. Well it’s not hopeless. In fact, it’s usually the persons fault that they are not losing weight. These mistakes made are causing many to believe that losing weight is impossible. I’m here to tell you that it’s not!

Top Mistakes People Make Attempting Weight Loss

1) Many think that you go on a diet for a month or two, lose all the weight they want and they are finished. This is the number one mistake. Diets are a way of life. You stick to it forever. You can not expect to go on a diet and then start eating like you did before the diet, it does not work that way. You always need to watch what you eat or you will just gain it back. And gain it back faster.

2) Many believe not eating for a day or too helps you with weight loss. Wrong! Doing that actually makes you gain more weight. Your body will then accept everything you take after that fast of a couple days. Therefore, your body doesn’t get rid of all the bad, but stores it instead.

3) They do not stick to it. Very similar to the first mistake mentioned, but this applies to eating right on a weekly basis. Many think they can have those so called “cheat days” where you can eat whatever you want. This is still just as bad for you and will not help you lose weight, causing you to take much longer to achieve your desired weight.

4)Another mistake people make is they set their goal too high. For example, set your goal to be 5 pounds in 2 weeks or something like that. Then increase it more and from there you will be able to reach your ultimate weight loss goal. But you need to take it slow and go from there.

5)4 Words…”Do Not Give Up!” You can achieve it. You can do anything if you set your mind to it.

1) Stick to your plan and never give up.

2)Eat tiny meals throughout the day. As in, eat a small portion of food every couple hours. This helps your metabolism increase.

3) Eat Healthy Food, always eat Healthy! Can not stress that enough.

4)Exercise daily. Running, jog, walking. You can benefit greatly from any physical activity.

5) Burn A LOT more calories than you consume!
