A good fitness regimen is vital to stay healthy. This helps keep you on track with your exercise plan. When coming up with a fitness regimen, you need to be aware of a few different areas.

You should start slow. You’ll want to start out gradually with whatever you choose to do. Avoid exercise programs that do not put a smile on your face at the end of the day. Have a few different workouts for different days of the week. Try to make it a combination of aerobic and cardio exercises to best help your body. Boredom with an exercise is one of the main reasons quit trying.
Do not work out alone. Try using the television to make a fitness regimen more fun. It can be done. Use household chores as another way to get some exercise. Keep yourself as limber as possible. Or if you have a stationary bike, ride it. Exercise can be fun.

Keep track of your fitness progress including how much you exercise and how much you eat and do not try to lose weight fasting as this is not the healthy way to lose weight and get fit and trim and to stay that way as this lets you know if you’re getting enough exercise and eating a balanced diet or if you need to work on it more. It’s also great motivation to see that you’re making progress.
It is important to keep trying. Make exercising a habit. Just like gaining the weight, getting fit and trim is a gradual process. It is worth the benefits if you do this. Do not become addicted to exercise, it is only one part of your life. Keep working at it and you will be rewarded. It is the start to a longer and happier life when you workout.
